Online Workshops

There are many online workshops out there at different prices with different content. When I decided to offer an online option, I set out to create a structure that is similar to taking a "live" class from me.  My mission is to provide an affordable class with a learning environment that resembles a live class or retreat where you are watching demos, learning tons of techniques and projects and then creating on your own during a limited amount of time.

All classes are set up on a 5 week structure with a start and finish- each week is a new "lesson" which includes projects and techniques.

Due to popular demand I have decided to open up all classes to be available for registration at any time with unlimited access. This means that all videos and lessons on the class site can be accessed at any time.  This gives those who may not be able to work within the 5 week structure an option to still take the class.  While my philosophy is that a limited amount of time to create inspires productivity, creativity and accountability, I still understand that we are all busy and often cannot work within deadlines. I strongly recommend that if you are taking one of my online classes, you set aside time each week to access the lesson, watch the videos and then set aside time to create.  I have created the weekly lessons with this format in mind.

WORKSHOP FACTS

Classes are based strongly in techniques and project inspiration. My classes are all about getting your hands messy and creating as much as you can!

Classes are organized in a 5 week format with each week including a specific topic with different techniques and lessons. If you choose to register when the class starts you will be following along with me posting a new lesson on each Monday during the five weeks.

I have changed my online class policy so that all of the classes are accessible at any time. While you cannot download classes and videos you will have unlimited access to the site- this means if you cannot follow along when the classes start, not to worry you can register at any time and work at your own pace!

Class will be held on a private blog that only registered students are able to access.

Basic computer skills are needed (be able to login, access a blog, etc)

There will be-
TONS of photos,
step by step visuals,
OVER 20-30 Video Lessons (of yours truly teaching and demoing in my studio but not in my pj's)
, pdf handouts
, lessons,
tips and lots and lots of inspiration to download.

A high speed connection if definitely recommended (because of the above!)

If you are following along with the 5 week format- New lessons will be posted each Monday and throughout the week there will be additional posts full of inspiration, you will have the opportunity to work on projects at your own pace.

Supplies needed are very simple, inexpensive craft items- (I strongly believe that creating art should not cost a lot of money!!)

Over the 5 weeks I will also include live and private chats AND as much email support as needed.
