IMPORTANT ONLINE CLASS UPDATE AND CHANGES- PLEASE READ BEFORE REGISTERING
When I first started offering online classes, they were set up in a five week format and were designed feel like a live class- a limited amount of time where you focus on creating during those five weeks. After receiving requests to make them accessible at any time, I decided to open them up for unlimited access. I am incredibly disappointed (sad, mad, frustrated) to announce that I have been forced to change the way I offer my classes due to MAJOR changes on the site I use- Ning. I have been frantically trying to figure out a way to keep the archive of classes available for registration and access at any time and at economic prices. But at this point it looks like I will need to remove all of them on August 19th. After the classes are removed from Ning, I will be moving each of the classes to a private blog.
This means if you have participated in any of my online classes you will still get access to the new location. The process will take me a while and it looks like all of the classes will go live in their new location by the end of Sept/ beginning of Oct.
If you are interested in taking any of my online classes look for blog posts with updates as the classes go live.

Color Your World
I am finally ready to open pre registration for my next online class- Color Your World and it's about time!! I am SO PASSIONATE about his topic because at the core of everything in my life (food, travel, art, clothing, makeup, photography, etc) color is always by my side challenging me, making me grow as an artist, blowing my mind and always inspiring me! While my art and creations are often impulsive and expressive- I am very intentional with my use of color- I believe that a good understanding of color makes all the difference in any creative project.
This class is going to be different from the rest of my classes because it is less about techniques and projects and more about theory, inspiration, finding your voice and setting yourself free with color. There will be homework (YIKES!!) but it will be fun homework, videos, photos, discussions and the opportunity to share, connect and SO MUCH MORE!
Whether you draw, paint, sew, scrapbook, take pictures, love fashion or even decor- this class will challenge you to look at color in a different way. We will start with the basics and then I will push you to work through simple exercises, color theory, inspiration, establishing a palette and developing your own unique voice with color. GRAFFITI CHIC

Learn the art of graffiti!! This class will introduce you to the concept of graffiti and tons of techniques- layering, messy color, how to make handmade stencils, handwriting, different kinds of spray painting techniques, non toxic substitutes for spray paint, using household materials and tools, paint pens, free writing, and all sorts of other techniques and materials to create your very own graffiti compositions on paper, fabric and canvas that can be used in scrapbooks, journals, collage sewing and all sorts of mixed media projects.

Graffiti Chic Part II

Recycling Remix
This class will completely change the way you think about everyday materials! It is jam packed with techniques, projects, ideas to incorporate a green approach and all kinds of ways to make art on a budget. For those who know me, will know that I am OBSESSED with finding new ways to redefine and use everyday materials- I strongly believe that learning to recycle and create on on a budget is a way to show respect in the art that we make. This class will introduce you to all kinds of creative and nontraditional (and I mean nontraditional!) ways to use everyday materials, how to transform trash and things that normally get tossed (junk mail, cereal boxes, used envelopes, paper, old clothes and so much more), you will learn how to spend little to no money on supplies, inspiration in art history and lots more Everything that you learn can be applied to mixed media, fabric, paper, scrapbooking projects- regardless of the medium you work in you will be INSPIRED!

Whimsical Women
While I consider myself first and foremost a painter, I have found passion for pairing my painting and mixed media techniques with sewing! This workshop will bring it all together and you will learn how to create whimsical women made from painted canvas, hand painted fabric, found objects and much more!

Anti Scrapbook
For some reason I never took to traditional scrapbooking, in fact I just might loathe it! To begin with I am not traditional plus I am not very organized, I don't like all the products you feel pressure to buy, it seems to require lots of money spent, it takes a lot of time and quite frankly its just too organized and mainstream for me (please don't be mad traditional scrappers!) But... I do LOVE taking pictures, in fact I take my camera everywhere, I love and appreciate documenting and preserving special moments, in true artistic form I enjoy putting my own creative, messy, recycled spin on photos and with a background in fine art- a completely unique approach to preserving memories! This class is for anyone out there ready to try something new with photos, scrapbooks, logging memories and preserving history, a class for those who don’t want to spend lots of money, who are ready to rebel when it comes to scrapbooking!

Adventurous Accessories
I have a confession to make... I am an accessory junkie! For some reason I love purses, hats, scarves and all kinds of jewelry and can alway find space for more. As usual my motto, when it comes to accessories, is why spend money when you can make your own?!
This class is something I have been planning for a while and it is just in time for holiday gifts! From hand painted scarves, altered hats to earrings, purses and jewelry- I will share all kinds of projects, techniques an inspiration to create your own handmade accessories. Full of inspiration, gift ideas and even a holiday decorating, this class will motivate you to create your own stylish holiday! You will learn simple and easy techniques, unique projects that incorporate paint (of course), fabric, found objects recycled materials and more, motivation to incorporate unique concepts and approach to spending little to no money on gifts!
A little different from the 5 week structure this class has just as much information (and maybe more) presented all at once so you can get work on creating your very own haute holiday right away!

The Mini Workshop
The mini work shop is a small version of the 5 week online classes that I teach. It is one specific project or a technique based class that you can login and access for up to 6 months after registration. This means you have six months to download and access the information, there is no date to plan for or time to set aside on your calendar you have control over when you want to create. The mini workshop is also more affordable option that I thought would be nice for those out there on a budget.

Canvas Collage Mini Workshop
This class will introduce you to everything you need to know about painter’s canvas. You will learn a variety of ways to work with canvas using acrylic paint, image transfers, iron transfers, and more. We will make use of raw, stretched, and primed canvas to build up layers that are glued and sewn together to create a unique piece of art ready to hang on the wall.

Hand Carved Stamps Why purchase stamps when you can make your own?!? I only make my own stamps and with a background in printmaking I have discovered unique ways to create pattern with hand carved stamps and assembled materials This is a technique mini workshop where you will learn a variety of unique ways to create stamps. With a combination of videos, photos, blog and pattern downloads you will become a pro at making your own simple stamps!
